You might try the natural balance roll dog food. It is not as soft as the wet, just slice and dice and mix with the dry. That is what I feed my boys all the time, also try warming the food just for a few seconds in your microwave, finicky eaters seem to like it warmed up a bit (both wet, roll and dry). Good luck.
