I also think the squirt bottle works wonders on my maltese, they hate to be squirted. However Tinkerbell loves LOVES and will jump up in my lap and beg for it. But it does distract her from the barking so it still does help. The pennies in the can can help too, although Tinkerbell hates it and barks AT it. But it works on her other little things she's not supposed to do. Just a little tip on the can, use one of those Slimfast cans, because it produces a much louder sound.
