Wow - who in the world would think 3.1lbs at 8 months is big? I was at the Houston AKC dog show yesterday. I only saw 5 yorkies and three of them looked to be around 5 or 5.5 lbs. One looked pretty tiny and her handler said she was 4lbs. One even looked to be the exact same size as Lacy (7lbs) and he was 6.5lbs at 9months. These were all show quality yorkies that met the standard. Next time you should ask them if they've ever read the Yorkie standard or seen a show quality yorkie.
