 Vaccine reaction 3 days later?
Gizmo had his last DHPP vaccine on Wednesday afternoon.
About an hour ago he had a bout of diarrhea. After I cleaned him up, he peed on his pad and then laid down in it! (He has never done that before.)
Now I have another pad on the couch and he's sitting on it right beside me, snuggled next to my thigh and won't play. He just looks like he's worn out.
I plan to give him a little boiled chicken and white rice later. Right now I'm just encouraging him to drink a little water since I don't want him to get dehydrated.
I plan to watch him for awhile. If he's not better in the morning, I'm going to take him to the after hours vet. If he gets any worse, we'll go tonight.
Am I doing the right things?
Is it possible that he's having a reaction to the vaccine three days later?
