By what the Vets says is that she is small for this ONE pup.. because it got so big. That she has plenty of room inside and normaly would be fine... But neither here or there.. I am going to have her Spayed at the same time of her C-section because I just dont want to chance anything.... I am NOT a breeder ... Its just not in my make up. |
I don't understand, earlier in this thread you posted that she is 4.14 lbs. at 53 days pregnant. I assumed that she had gained some weight during this pregnancy and would therefore be under 4 pounds prepregnant weight. Maybe I shouldn't have assumed but the point still holds that it is dangerous for a lot of these tiny females to become pregnant and they should therefore be spayed before their first heat to make sure that they are protected against accidents because they can and do happen.
