I understand exactly how you feel. I am a trucker's wife as well and I'm sure you worry about your DH as I do when mine is on the road. Mine isn't a long hall overnight driver, but he does drive his tractor trailer on dangerous roads in NYC and the surrounding areas, plus in very bad weather at times, so I worry about his safety. Not even having a cell phone for one second would concern me too, but try not to worry too much. I'm sure your DH will be ok.
