 Asking for Prayers
Part 1: Please keep my husband in your prayers. As I type, he is driving his new motorcycle back from Orlando, FL. I took him to the airport yesterday afternoon. He walked away from the 2003 Anniversery Ultra Glide and bought the 2005 Ultra Glide Classic.
Part 2: I agreed to be his "riding buddy" before he purchased the bike and will live up to my part of the bargain. However I am asking for prayers because I am terrified of motorcycles. Please pray that I will overcome my fear and enjoy the rides.
If you are wondering why I agreed to be his riding buddy, it's because I really felt like it was the "right" thing to do. We have been married for 26 years -- long lasting relationships depend upon sacrafice - giving and taking. Riding a Harley with me on the back is a dream Ron has had since we started dating over 30 years ago, and my gift is to help fulfill this dream. It is such a small thing to do for one's soulmate -- particularly when the mate has given as much to a relationship as Ron has to ours.
Footnote: Because of the circumstances -- hubby monopolizing my time in the search for the Harley of his Dreams-- I am running late on getting orders out.
