used to do the same thing. I have one area for him to go do his "duties". He's usually pretty good about going to his area but when I leave the house that's when the anxiety sets in and he makes most of his mistakes. I try to "duty" him before I leave but it doesn't always work. I used to put two or three piddle pads down because it seemed like he was always missing the pad. I found that Bailey will not go on a dirty area and that if I only put one piddle pad down at a time, he doesn't seemed to be as confused and make as many mistakes. I hope this is helpful
