I also started giving both kids distilled water with unfiltered organic apple cider (health food store, 1 qt. for $6). I use one teaspoon of the vinegar with a quart of water. Kallie's red staining and Toby's wet eyes are staying cleared up without any additional Tylan. I have not given either of them the Tylan after the initial doses. Made a world of difference in both of them.

Sorry I gave you the wrong impression with the tums. I tried it for about eight months with Kallie and it seemed to help but never fully eliminated the red staining but I never tried using the tums on Toby for the wetness around his eyes.
No problem, that's okay! I didn't go out an buy the Tums anyway. But I will give my aunt the water/vinegar suggestion.
