Timmy & Mimi are pretty much pad trained so they do their business on the pad. We are still working with Lilly since she's only been with us for a little over a month but I think she thinks that the area rug in our family room is a big pad
I just replaced it and she had a accident on it today
I have hard wood floors throughout my house. The only place I have a rug which is brand new is my formal living room and they are not allowed in there. I have a gate for now until I can put my french doors up. Sometimes I'll let them in if I'm in there but if they do they are supervised and Timmy has his belly band on and the girls wear diapers
