so yesterday, i took her to my vet, who told me that her lens is dislodged, she has a cataract and scarring from the injury, and she is definitely blind.
there's really nothing we can do for her, but i feel like the breeder wasn't entirely honest with me. as a matter of principle, i think i'll ask for some money back (even though it's definitely not about the money - i'm just a little choked that a) i wasn't told; and b) their vet said the dog was fine. |
The breeder was wrong not to have told you about the eye injury, and I would ask her to at least cover the vet costs. She should have offered that when you talked to her. She should have also provided you with the vet records about her eye injury. Since she has already been dishonest, I would ask for the records now.
Good luck!
