Yes they are common!! Missy had doubled canines in the front.... they looked horrible... we noticed her mouth didn't seem right so we spotted those suckers and was hoping that she'll get them off on her own, and what you know? I found the teeth (they were attached two in total) on the floor. Her toy helped a lot
thank God they come off her own, cause the Vet charges way too much
BTW, she was like 7 months when they fell off.
