My little Maggie who is 8 weeks old today WILL NOT go on the puppy pad. I also live in an apartment and trying the litter box. She will go in it when I am not there (sometimes....on the floor also, even though I have newspaper down). But when I am home with her she wants to go on the carpet every chance she gets. I am constantly watching her and when I see her "hunched" I take her to the litter box. Sometimes she just sits in the litter and pouts. I don't know if I am confusing her since I sometimes take her outside, and I have newspaper down, and a litter box. Oh....and she loves to dig in the litter and it goes everywhere!
