We found a metal expandable gate that has the door which opens at "Baby's R US" It's workes well..but Taylor is a large Yorkie...so check the width of the bars. You don't have to drill any holes.
I watch a lot of Court TV....and I find myself using that crime-scene mind when trying to figure out how Taylor did what he did!
