Schatzie is pretty much at that "bangs" stage also. I don't always use a top knot bow as it seems harsh on her hair. So when I blow dry her I blow her bangs back and have even used a little gel.
It works for about a day but then her bangs fall again.
It's a patience game with me and one day I do realize her hair will be more managable. If I'm lucky, maybe by her 2nd birthday, LOL.
