Make sure you go up to the mark an the tube - if you go up to the mark you are doing fine and if it was put in the lung it wouldn't go up to that mark. My vet told us when we had to do tube is that you may get some in the lungs, but no matter what happens...you are doing what you must and the puppy would die for sure if you don't do this. He thinks that the what might happen far outweighs what 100% will happen if you don't tube feed. Good luck and I know how stressful it is to tubefeed.
