Hello Everyone

I am new to the site as I am a new yorkie owner. I just got Bella 6 days ago and she is 2 months old. So far she is pretty well behaved but I would like to train her to use a litter box. I live in an apartment on the 16th floor so outside is not the best but I am trying to train her with puppy pads and then move them into a litter box. So far she is using the pads at night but when she has more access to the apartment she goes anywhere but the pads. I put her on the pad when I catch her attempting the act but then she waits and then goes on the carpet later..lol. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me?
