Welcome and congratulations!!! I can't wait to see pics because I don't think I've ever seen a yorkie/silky mix before.
I wouldn't wake her up to go potty during the night, but if she wakes up crying, I would put her on the pad just in case. If she goes, make sure to give lots of praise. Then, let her get settled back down. If you want her sleeping in her own bed or crate every night, try not to give in to her cries. Once you start letting them sleep with you, that's pretty much it.
My little guy has always slept with my husband and I, and we love it!
