well assuming you are not leaving tomorrow, i'd say start getting him used to being alone (we had the same problem with Layla, up until June 12th, she had never been left alone) go out for 15 min, say a key word to him, i say "mommy will be RIGHT BACK" leave with little fuss, come back with little fuss.. he will realize when you say whatever word that you are leaving.. no big deal... and that you DO come back... again no big deal.. if you have this big fan fare when you return he will get very anxious waiting for you to return.. after oyu have come in and settled down, maybe give him a treat or a special toy, but again, very low key... in no time he'll be used to you leave and look forward to your return we are now able to leave layla for up to 3-4 hours no problem make sure you close any doors he shoudnl't get into and remove any toys with string or something that could be a problem if you aren't there... leave him maybe an interactive toy like a Kong or a special toy he only gets when you leave, so again, he will associate the toy with you leave and it being a great thing!
