I've got an "Elnita" by Elna that I got many years ago at a sewing machine store. Don't remember how much it cost, but it couldn't have been too expensive. It's simple, doesn't jam, and I use it a fair amount. Have never had to have it serviced or anything. It's not fancy, but it does all the basic stuff which is all I really need.
