I never met a Yorkie face I didn't love-some more than others. I have no idea what a "teddy bear" face looks like. It is possible that Pat does.. I have heard soft, wooly coats described as Little bears but they are talking about the soft wooly easily-matted coats that I breed away from.
My boy, Jesse, that appears in my avatar, has a full sister who looked like she didn't come from either parent. I use their pics to demonstrate why a person should NOT look at a previous litter to try to see what a particular pyppy will look like.
Yorkies are more like humans when it comes to looks than any other dog I know. Their area of origin might play a part. I do not know those genetics.
Irish Yorkies have what I describe as coarse features. Most Yorkies from "the continent" seem to. BUT, that is providing there are no outside lines introduced.. I am NOT naming any particular as good or bad--as with almost everything--beauty is in the eye of the beholder..For that long post, I still was no help.. |
