Good for you! We don't have EMT-I here in Jersey. Only B & P!

Do you know the difference between B & I? I don't! LOL I'm thinking...do you start IVs and intubate?

We do basic first aid, use the AED, administer O2, can give Epi pens, and help with meds (i.e. nitro, inhalers, etc.) and the patient's glucometer.

As for the answers to your questions, I don't have. But I do have to say this, I went through a WHOLE LOT when I went to EMT school (which was from January-May. I was going through severe depression from the break-up of my engagement, I got my Yorkie puppy (Baby) in November, I worked full time as a teacher, was a member on the rescue squad, AND was buying a house and moving in March. If I can do that, anyone can do anything!

Good luck!
