Yup! Riley howls all of the time, especially when he is playing. When we first got him, he never used to howl or make any noise at all. I used to have a Basset named Charlie who would always howl when we ran the vaccuum cleaner, etc. Riley picked up his howling and it is such a cool sound to hear out of such a small dog!
