Dave, I am so sorry for your loss. This is one of the hardest things we as pet owners have to do, but it is a most compassionate decision. My husband and I had to make the same decision for our last three dogs within a two year time period, before we got your yorkies. It was devestating to lose all three of our furkids in such a short time but when we felt they were suffering from their illnesses, there was no other decision to be made. I know how hard it is and the feeling of how terrible you feel having to do it.
We have our two yorkie babies now and many happy memories of our past furkids. When you feel the time is right, I hope you will consider getting another baby. You are a very caring yorkie parent and have a lot of love to give to another baby.
