First of all, how many folks know what the standard is and what it comprises. The standard is the perfect dog. The perfect yorkie does not exist- but when you are going to breed it is what you should stide for.

What are the faults with the male and female? Do they have the same faults? Do they compliment each other? Are you breeding just cause they are so darn cute and you can. Have you had your breeding stock if you own both or the female checked by a vet to make sure that they are sound. I hear a lot about the bad breeder who sold you a puppy that had liver shunt or L.P. and so forth has your stock been checked? Are you ready to stand behind a puppy that you sale for at least a year to make the new owner happy?
