It was definately a good episode. It really showed how small dogs really get away with murder. If a lab or pointer was acting like that even once they would probably be toast lol but when these wee ones do it.. haha
He did a really great job with him and with the gagging noise, he proved he was doing it intentionally when he switched to the harness but he would randomly do it when he got corrected. Smart little bugger. lol He knew that if he made that noise his mom would back off. This evening I met a friends new yorkie (Champ - big name for such a small guy) and when they even reach for his collar to correct him or to move him he plays the whole "cough cough gag gag I'm dyin here" routine! TOO smart lol
I love how he really explained that a touch correction doesn't mean force or hurting the dog but just to 'snap them back to reality'. Just two fingers with a firm poke is enough to say, "Hey, back off. I'm in charge here." Or since yorkies are so quick on their feet you can touch them with your foot to correct them too.
I wonder if the owner will keep up with his corrections or if she will slack off and let him rule again.. hmm
