I had mine five years ago. The only thing that I remember about the hospital experience was that I slept nearly the entire time. They gave me one of those pumps for the pain medication, and no pain to speak of. I was sent home with a prescription but never filled it. I feel good, and no problems other than hot flashes and night sweats, but I had them before due to early menopause from chemotherapy three years earlier. I was 52 at the time. Good luck.
