Hmm.. I'm not sure what to tell you about the brushing as Bentley loves to have his brushed because the toothpaste is meat flavored (unfortunately the meat flavor doesn't give him good breath). You might try giving her a petite greenie as that is supposed to help clean their teeth and give them good breath.

On a side note, have all of her baby teeth fallen out (or been pulled)? Bentley got really nasty breath at 6 months of age and when I looked in his mouth he had 2 sets of teeth, known as double teeth (his grown up teeth came in and his baby teeth hadn't fallen out). When this happens, food, etc. build up between the teeth and cause a very nasty odor. The vet pulled all of the baby teeth out when he was neutered and we hadn't had a bad breath problem since then. I just thought I would point it out so you can make sure that is not the problem.
