My little Kela only will walk on a harness. I know that my vet has said that WE HAVE TO WALK HER ON A HARNESS!! Because yorkies are really prone to collapse tracheas. She does really well on a harness and not so good with a collar. When we bought her harness I brought it home and put it right on her. She tried to eat it and get it off but after awhile she gave up. We left it on for about three days (day and night) and it doesn't bother her now. She is excited when she sees it because it means "Walk Time".
As for the noise... we take our puppy to a really quite park in the evenings and have walked her there. I dont know if that is just a puppy thing or what... but I hope they grow out of it!! |
