Yes I already tried that. A little guy named Lefty.. I fell in love with him and was sure I would get him. But, they won't adopt him to me. My yard is not fenced. Even though I live on a dead end dirt road with 1 neighbor. They said they are just very picky when adopting out these dogs. That is why they are still in shelters for a year sometimes. I would be a GREAT yorkie mom. I am at home almost every minute of teh day, leave 1x a week to grocery shop. My animal will be 100% supervised and protected. WEll, I am a little bitter... can you tell?
