My Dunks wasn't disoriented per say but he was very calm and chill... He didn't seem like himself but it was because he was still groggy from the anestesia or whatever it is that puts him to sleep... He was back to normal the next day though...
And as for him not seeing you, is it because he has the cone on? Make sure you leave the cone on the entire time until his stitches are removed... I am thinking that's why he can't see you clearly because of the cone... Call your vet to make sure about him being disoriented though..
I hope you paid extra for the pain meds!!! It helped Dunks tremendously!
