 Elderly Yorkie Owners?
I have a beloved ancient Yorkie (17 years old) named Casey. He is still very feisty and can eat like a trencherman, but he is arthritic , blind, and somewhat deaf. Are there any owners of elderly Yorkies who can tell me how to know if he is suffering in any way (He is on Deramax for his arthritis. Other than that and somme confusion sometimes, Casey seems fine. He has weak back legs, but he can still jump on the sofa without help! I love this dog so much, but I am steeling myself for a time when I will not have him anymore. |
