It is most likey that she has shunt. However, there are other reasons for high bile acids, food for one. As there is no test to date "DNA Markers" to rule out a dog as a carrier. Information that is available today state that type of test is about a year away.

High Bile Acids are an indication of shunt or MVD. However, further tests must be peformed to confirm.
