My mom had a complete hysterectomy due to cysts on her ovaries. They took one out and a few years the other. She was late twenties early thirties then, now in her early forties. It has thrown her hormones out of whack! A lot of illnesses that run in our family she started experiencing, not saying it was totally because of the hysterectomy but it all happened within a few years afterwards. She gained a lot of weight, that started happening fairly soon after, she is now a type 2 diabetic, hormonal problems, now they think she may have lupus. Not saying this happens with every case, because it is wonderful for some people. I guess everyones bodies are all different.
