Our little boy is 6mos. So I can't advise personally based on age. I have read enough here that would make me think twice about bringing home a pup that young. I believe they are still learning social skills from the mom and siblings at that age. Not to mention the hypoglycemia threat. I'd try to talk to the breeder about waiting until closer to the 10-12 week range.
