I DON"T want an itsy bitsy dog. I have a pre-schooler, and while I am with him 24/7 I want him to be able to pet the dog without fear he will hurt it. KWIM? My puppies dad is 3.5lbs, and mom is 6.5. Out of 4 pups only 1 is a girl.. which is what I want. But, she is the smallest. The breeder assures me that she should be close to 5 lbs full grown. If not bigger. She says they have had 2 previous litters and NONE were under 4lbs. Is there a way to estimate how big a dog will be when fully grown?
