I think it is definitely an individual thing. Willie is a lap dog all the way. He loves to be in a lap --- well in my lap. With my hubby though --- when he sits on the sofa, Willie wants hubby to cross his arms so Willie can lay in on his arm.
Archie rarely, very rarely sits on my lap. They have beds on the floor by the sofa and this desk where the computer is -- and the bed is where he wants to be. Sometimes he will sit on the sofa right beside, but not on, me, but more often he is in his spot on a pillow on the table behind the sofa at my head. |
