Chewy is about the same age and he doesn't like to be in a lap either, not even when napping. I have found though, that he WILL snuggle me if I am walking or driving. He likes if I hold him against my chestwith my arm and hand underneath him. Otherwise, he's too busy playing. He has snuggled up to me a couple times and laid NEXT to me, but not in my lap
I am slightly bummed, but I wouldn't trade this crazy guy for anything!
