Gosh, Honestly, she needs to have an autopsy done to determine WHAT caused her baby to die. Have a report by the vet made. Go over, with her vet, the health gaurantee she got (IF she got one) from the breeder . If the death was something that could have been prevented by the breeder or could be linked back to her in any way, YES she can take action. God, that is horrible? Does her town not have a 24/7 Emergency Vet? Luckily, I've never had to use ours but I thank god it is there for the day I may need it.
