Congratulations! What an exciting and nerve wracking time. Hang in there. You have been given some good suggestions. Sometimes it takes a day or two for them to really kick into the mothering mode. Give her lots of calcium and keep trying to get her to nurse the pup as much as you can. If not, not only will the pup not get fed, but she will be hurting before long. Can't wait to see pictures of your new little one.
