I thought they were lap dogs too, but mine really is not. She is not real hyper anymore at age 6, but she will sit with us for a short time but prefers to sleep on the pillows somewhere or near us. She loves to give kisses, but she is more like a cat, on her own terms. She always wants to know what is in it for her. I love cats, so it really isn't an issue, but where is my "lap dog"?
