Hello, I have a 5lb female yorkie who is almost 11 1/2 months old now. I'm now kinda worried as to why she hasn't had her first heat cycle yet? I've frequently checked for the symptoms and signs but she doesn't seem to have shown any of them. We also have a male yorkie who is just over 2 years old now. He's kinda been interested in her, like, he'll lick her bits after she's peed and he'll lick the areas where she's peed and pee over it. But he's always done that. I haven't noticed any unusual behaivour or anything out of the norm.Whilst I have no plans on them mating for her first cycle, I would like her to have at least one litter from her second cycle.Both myself and family want puppies so we agreed not to fix them until she has at least one litter then that will be all. I've read a few books and searched online and all are saying they have their first cycle after 6-8 months, well this is way past due, and I'm sure if she had a cycle I would have noticed it, right? Anyways, I hope you guys can help
