 Some are lap dogs, some are not
My Bengi is not a lap dog. When he was a puppy he would never sit on my lap. Now at a year old he sits on my lap or by my side only after playing playing and playing. He did got less hyper, but still he's not a "lap dog". Truly "lap dogs" are usually like that since they are pups. a hyper dog might get a little less active but not that much.
My mom has a mini pin and he's active with my yorkie, but doesn't like to play with people like Bengi does. He doesn't play fetch and he's not as smart as Bengi is. Also, yorkies are much more gentle. |
