The hyperactivity will dissipate -- in 7 or 8 years!
Seriously, these guys ARE hyper for the most part. There are exceptions as in all breeds, but they're generally very active little ones.
Most of them DO like to be snuggled though. But it does depend on the dog. My boy has ALWAYS liked to lay on me. And if he is on the sofa or in a chair, he will be RIGHT beside me. And he will crawl up in my lap sometimes.
