Benji is 13 weeks old now and I do my best to keep him on my lap but he is so hyper he tries to jump off every time. Is this normal puppy behavior? He allows me to hold him for longer lengths of time when I put him on my arm and bring him close to my body (where he likes to nestle near my elbow)....but no luck with the lap thus far. Has anyone had a puppy like this that turned into a more affectionate lap dog later? I would really appreciate any responses.
