I don't put bows in Duffy's hair, but I do put buttons. I went to the craft/material store and bought some buttons with shanks on the back in the shape of stars and some cars and then put the tiny "wrap" latex bands through the shanks and into Duffy's hair. I also have a couple of small white buttons that are shaped like bones but without a shank and I just used a needle and thread and sewed them onto the latex bands. When I take them out of his hair, I just cut off the thread and resew them onto new bands so I can reuse them. All of my friends love the buttons and they look more "manly" than the bows.
