Your Lilly's coming into Season so soon does sound strange, a bit too soon. Is she spotting alot or heavy bleeding? I would have her vet checked. Not, to scare you, but I worry about Pyrometria, probably isn't, if she's acting normal...but, better safe than sorry.
As far as Petey goes, he is proven. He had sired two litters and has two more on the way. And as Pyrometric goes, I guess its possible, but doesn't that usually occur in bitches that are older? Lilly just turned 2 in June. And she is acting very normal, nothing unusual about her.
