I got organic virgin coconut oil from the health food store. I put it on their food AND also use it as a topical if Hobbs' skin breaks out. I don't put it on his skin unless I shave the area first. I always helps. I prefer the coconut oil over the neosporin because it is fine if the coconut oil is ingested. Obviously it is NOT ok if neosporin is ingested.
Another thing that helped us is that we alternate oils on their food. One night we'll do coconut oil, the next night we'll do fish oil, the next night we'll do flax seed oil and we rotate every 3 nights like that.
