I had problems on Ebay recently, i had a bracelet up for sale and someone bought it..then i get a message from ebay telling me that it had been bought by an unauthorised user..think they were using someone elses ebay account or something....so i relist the bracelet....it sells again very quickly..and i suspect it's possibly the same buyer..too many similarities! they then try to get me to sell it to them outside of ebay and try to deposit money into my paypal account! I just ignored the emails and thankfully i never heard from them again. you have to be so so careful now.
