Ryoko does this too when we say walk he gets excited. The cool thing about this is that he didn't bark much, more like once a month.. then my son taught him the speak command somehow and all hell broke loose. HE doesn't bark for nothing.. he barks once or twice and sits, or stands with his tail wagging. I make him sit, then i go through words that he knows.
OUTSIDE?( this means the back porch area where he does his business.)
WATER? (its soo cool when there s no water and he tells us,)
FOOD? (if he just has eaten he will continue to sit and listen with not a peep coming from him.. )
WALK? then we hear a "Arf Arf!!!" when we hear the bark, that means thas what he wants. Its crazy. I don't know if anyone else's Yorkie does this but its soo freakin cool for him to be able to tell us what he wants. The downside to this is that when he wants food he thinks he can bark and we will jump and feed him. This sucks when he does it during feeding time because As a mom i am like no way do u tell me what to do, I tell u what to do MR.!
